The Company

I had to share this fun ad but didn’t find much information about the company or the product. Here is what I was able to discover:

• According to opencorporates, the company was incorporated on October 14, 1983. It was dissolved on September 22, 1986.

• However, nzlbusiness says that the company was originally incorporated on June 17, 1960 as Amalgamated Wireless (Australaisa) N.Z. Limited. On September 10, 1975, the company was renamed AWA New Zealand Limited. In January 1991, the company was again renamed to Expanse Electronics Limited. The company was removed from the register in 2005.

• There is currently a company named Awa Technologies Ltd, but I’m not sure if they are related.

• Unfortunately, I could not find any product reviews.
