When I originally found this ad, I said to myself “There’s going to be zero information about this one.” And I was right. (I decided to post this ad because it made me smile.) It doesn’t look like this company was incorporated or any reviews were written about it. After all, how do you review a small fresnel lens and a bracket? I guess it’s cheaper to get this than invest in an extra monitor for your Osborne 1 portable. On the other hand, $34 (S111 in 2024 money) seems kinda expensive.
I looked up the address in the ad on Google Maps, thinking it might be a residential address (because this seemed like a product some guy would sell out of his garage). Nope. Looks like whoever ran Dipco (Jim Radono maybe) rented part or all of this building.
