Hello, dear subscribers,
Last year, I turned on paid subscriptions for this newsletter, but didn’t really do anything with it. At the time, there were no benefits for paid subscribers other than to support my work. Lately, I’ve been thinking about how to change that, and here is what I have come up with.
Paid subscribers, who pay either $5 monthly or $55 annually, will receive the following:
A monthly post for paid subscribers
The chance to vote on what ad is covered in the monthly exclusive
The ability to start threads in the Computer Ads from the Past chat
Founding Members (those who pay for than $55 a year) will get the above benefits and will also receive a Birthday and Christmas card from me.
If this interests you, you can hit the “Subscribe now” button to upgrade to a paid subscription.
I will be sending out an email in the next couple of days with a poll for this month’s paid post.
If for some reason, you don’t want to take advantage of the sale you can also support my work using the following methods (I wanted to cover all of my bases):
Other Projects
I’m currently working on two other projects. The first is an ebook version of the first year of this newsletter. When I finish it, the ebook will be available for free to paid subscribers. Everyone else will be able to purchase it for $5.
Physical swag is another project that I’m working on. Who wouldn’t like to wear a T-shirt with a retro computer ad on the front? I’m currently working to research the copyright status of a couple ads. Once I get things sorted, I’ll send out emails with pictures to get the community’s opinion.
Feel free to comment below with your thoughts. If you have any problems with your subscription, let me know and I’ll fix it.
Thanks,
John Paul Wohlscheid
