Great article my dude!

I've never (to my knowledge) used anything from Bible Research Systems; that is, assuming they released anything beyond this program. However, I have been using various Bible study programs (web-based and desktop native) over the years and what I've noticed is that they mostly all have the same features. What's cool is that a lot of what I commonly use with things like Blue Letter Bible, BibleGateway, SWORD Project, Xiphos, and the desktop Bible Study app from Ligonier Ministries are described as features in this article. It really sounds like these guys nearly perfected the Bible study software on their first go!

I have ‘The WORD Processor’ v4.0, 4.2, 4.3–then, upgraded to 5.0 and to 5.1. I also had TWP 6.3 on CD as well–in one of my many 20+ moves throughout the years–I lost it. So, I went back to TWP 5.1 because I have the floppy disks safely stored.

Around 2020, I downloaded TWP 7.1 with many of the additional modules–unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to get all my modules due to my order sheet (i.e. codes) for TWP 6.3 for the CD were locked in storage while I was overseas.

In the past, I used Bible Source For Windows (Study Edition) that later became Zondervan NIV Study Bible Library software--one of the best I have used. But TWP 7 is best so far compared to the other eight software systems I have bought and used.

I really enjoy using TWP v7.1 version; in addition to, using BibleTime (Crosswire) and theWord software systems. Moreover, I am still looking for another TWP CD to replace the one I have Iost.
