I'm John MacGibbon, the Kiwi who conducted that interview with Woz. It was a nice surprise to read it again, after 35 years. In those days I also wrote articles for the US-published Apple magazine Softtalk - including a profile about an architect who claimed to be making excellent money through using the Apple Lisa, which was then fabulously expensive in New Zealand. Given what a Lisa could actually do, I think he was bullshitting me.
I'm happy to help though I'm not sure how helpful I could be. It's a long time since I've been anything more than just an enthusiast, and a fair way from cutting edge computing. I haven't worked directly in the computer industry since the late '90s.
Hi, I really enjoyed this interview, thanks a lot! Maybe something went wrong with OCR in «a Number of Apple lies and lies» which should be «a Number of Apple IIes and IIcs». Regards.

Welcome. I'm glad that you found this interview. Just doing my bit to keep computer history alive.
I've always wondered what it was like to cover these events back in the day, especially in New Zealand. Would you be interested in doing an interview?

This is really cool! I’ll have to make time to read it.

I tried to catch those issues before I posted it, but a few got through. I think I get them all now.
