One ad I especially remember was for Data General: it showed marvelous (but out of date) cavalry troops preparing to engage artillery!

I worked for Datapoint, and would like to see CTC/Datapoint ads (though there weren't very many of them, as marketing wasn't their forth!

I’m most nostalgic for Apple / Mac related ads and most interested in ads for games. But in general, if an ad is particularly funny or clever or weird, I’m happy to see it.

When I was younger and very poor, I used to lust over ads for the Atari ST. I had no idea if it was even a good computer or not, I just loved its futuristic look which the ads did a good job of conveying.

I also loved Borland ads for things like Turbo Pascal, Delphi, Paradox, etc. I wasn't a programmer, but their ads made me think it would be cool to create software for some reason.

Maybe my favourite ads of all time though were the ones for the early Amiga and PC-based flight sims (especially those from Microprose.) They made me drool over two things: the idea of owing a computer to play those games, and joining the Air Force so I could play with the real deals.
